Transversal with offices in in Port au Prince, has been involved in Haiti’s mobile money market since 2010. Transversal was hired by one of the largest Telecom operators during the Haiti Mobile Money Initiative (HMM) first-to-market award phase.
Transversal succesfully helped recruit, train, and manage agents as well as helped recruit and manage customers during the HMMI first-to-market phase. Transversal also developed an Android application called AgentPro, which performs a full KYC to qualify a consumer for a full mobile wallet.
As part of this initiative, a $2.5M prize money from the Gates Foundation/USAID has been awarded to this institution.
In 2011, Transversal developed the MerchantPro electronic voucher platform and won several large-scale contracts from UNDP, CARE, CRS, Digicel and Mercy Corps to manage their eVoucher programs in Haiti and Nepal. The CARE/CRS food-for-peace programs have been funded by USAID and included monthly eVoucher payments of $250/each for more then 60,000 beneficiaries located in Grande Anse, Nippes, Artibonite, North and North East areas. The eVouchers were redeemed at qualified merchants using a dumb phone POS solution developed by Transversal. Transversal provided a train-the-trainer program for merchant training and monitors the merchant redemption transactions in real-time.
For the last three years more then 15 millions USD has been redeemed by beneficiaries through Transversal electronic Voucher solutions in Haiti, Nepal and Timor Leste(http://www.transversal.ht/mobi.html).

Designing and developing mobile and web based applications including data collection tools;
Deploying VoIP and Video Surveillance solutions.
Furthermore, with strong partnerships with Cisco CSR and the World Bank, Transversal has also been very active through its Foundation providing training to youths and students from low income families.
