Abraham Pierre, is 30 years old, was born and grew up in Haiti. He speaks 4 languages, Haitian-creole, English, French and Spanish. He learned Shotokan which is a martial art discipline and is a sensei. Abraham started to volunteer at the age of 17 as a social worker by monitoring and teaching kids the american english. 3 years after he attended Ignitus World Wide (Youth Crime Watch) training of trainers course in 2007-2008 and was then among the very first young leaders launching the official site and implementing the movement in Haiti.
Abraham Pierre is a teacher of languages, Translator, Fixer and Tourist guide. He served as a translator and quickly adapted the skills he already had to develop those needed to be a fine journalist assitstant. he is polite and professional in every way.
Unicef Staff, Plan International Haiti, ActionAid, France 2, UN Foundations, Independent Reporters and Photographers would not have been able to get their work done properly without his valuable experience and help. As a Haitian Production Coordinator, he helped "Hungry Horses Films" with their Haitian Movie entitled "Nixon in Haiti" With the UN Foundations, he helped directing, fixing and also coordinating their very recent film. With UNICEF he translates for the visitors, Unicef Good Will Ambassadors and more
